Nanoparticles and Nanostructured Materials
Synthesis and Research Group
About
Exploring. Understanding. Creating.
The primary scientific idea of our group is the regulation of morphological and structural parameters of various types of inorganic nanoparticles as a tool for controlling the functional properties of materials based on them.
Our laboratory

The group’s work is focused on obtaining inorganic nanoparticles of specified sizes and shapes using various methods of “wet” chemistry (precipitation, sol-gel, hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis, polyol synthesis, etc.), as well as inorganic and polymer-inorganic materials based on them. We also study the functional properties of the obtained objects.

Our team
The Synthesis and Research Group of Nanoparticles and Nanostructured Materials is a team of like-minded individuals: professors, young scientists, and students who actively engage in scientific research, publish articles in prestigious international scientific journals, undergo internships abroad, lead projects supported by Russian and international scientific funds.
Every year, we welcome junior students to our close-knit team to carry out coursework, as well as master’s and doctoral dissertations. Many of them stay on to continue their research activities.
